The Happy Foundation
Spreading Happiness

Established in 2009, The Happy Foundation is Balbaa Group’s social impact initiative, created to support community wellbeing and long-term social development. The foundation operates across underserved areas, focusing on essential services that enhance daily life and promote self-sufficiency.

Over the years, the foundation has renovated more than 80 homes in rural villages, established over 350 water connections and wells, and supported schools by improving facilities and access to education.

Healthcare remains a central pillar of the foundation’s work. More than 3,500 individuals have received medical support through services including prosthetic limb provision and essential eye surgeries. To combat food insecurity, the foundation runs a kitchen that delivers hot meals daily and distributes food and meat throughout the year, especially during Ramadan.

The foundation also supports income-generating initiatives that help families gain economic independence through sustainable, small-scale development projects. These long-term efforts reflect Balbaa Group’s broader commitment to creating meaningful impact beyond construction, supporting wellbeing, stability, and shared progress across the communities it touches.

Key areas of impact include:

• Rebuilding over 80 homes in rural communities
• Installing more than 350 water connections and wells
• Supporting village schools and establishing educational institutions
• Providing healthcare access, including 3,500+ prosthetic limbs and eye surgeries
• Distributing food and meat supplies during Ramadan and year-round
• Operating a dedicated kitchen that delivers hot meals daily
• Launching small-scale development projects to support income generation for families

Through these initiatives, the Happy Foundation extends the Group’s commitment beyond physical development, promoting dignity, access, and opportunity where it is needed most.
